Members and guests are invited to join us on our two day expedition to the Blue Mountains for Christmas in July. More details will be published as soon as available.
Due to high demand for accommodation and restaurants, we encourage you to book early to secure your place.
For those who have not experienced this event, here is a run down:
Saturday: Drive, Afternoon Tea & Drive. Meeting at McDonald's Car Park at 11.30am for 12.00pm departure. McDonald's Windsor McGraths Hill - Windsor Road, cnr Groves Ave, Windsor NSW 2756. Drive will take us along Bells Line of Road which has recently re-opened where we will stop at Mount Victoria for 20-30 mins before heading on to Katoomba for check-in.
Saturday Night Dinner: Group will meet for a special 6 course dinner at Pins On Lurline a Fine Dining restaurant in Katoomba. Cost of $88 per person with drinks payable on consumption on the night. See link: https://www.pinsonlurline.com.au/
Sunday: Drive & Lunch. Leaving Katoomba at 9.00AM Sunday for a drive to Mayfields Gardens at Oberon arriving ay 10:30AM. 65-hectare cool climate garden. A labour of love by all who have worked at Mayfield over the years, Mayfield shows high standards of gardening. We will spend 1.5 hours walking the garden before going to the restaurant for lunch, finishing by 2pm ready for the drive back to Sydney. No set menu - lunch paid on the day. Please register for this so we can reserve the appropriate amount of spots.
