Your club has secured King Rooms and Dinner tables at the famous Caves House at Jenolan Caves in the Blue Mountains for a 3 course Spring Fare.
On Saturday 10/9 we will meet at 9.30 in the MacDonalds car park at the M4 Service Centre at Huntingwood for coffee. From there we will head to the lower Blue Mountains for Brunch at our first stop.
After a leisurely meal we will drive the Great Western Highway through Mt Victoria and then down the famous Victoria Pass and onto Hartley where we will join Jenolan Caves Road.
From there we will drive through the Oberon Countryside then onto to the decent into Jenolan Caves, the road down is winding and so we will take our time.
Our aim is to arrive at Caves House at 2pm for check-in. After settling into our rooms we will have two choices, join the Temple of Baal cave tour booked for us at 4pm, alternatively enjoy the surrounds, go for a walk, or relax in Caves House. The Cave tour will finish around 5.30pm so we will have plenty of time to dress up and get ourselves ready for drinks in the bar at 7pm and our Spring Fare at 7.30pm.
For those that would like a Mountain Breakfast this option is available to pre-book, alternatively you can decide on the day depending on how busy the restaurant is, there is also a café for an informal breakfast.
Sunday there are two options, for those short on time head back to Sydney; otherwise we are heading the short distance to Mayfield Gardens to enjoy spring in the world famous landscaped garden and then lunch at the equally famous onsite restaurant. We expect to leave Mayfield in time to arrive back in Sydney around 4.30 5pm.
