Maserati Club Annual Picnic and Concours d'Elegance
All members and friends are invited to our annual Picnic and Concourse d ‘ Elegance at Vaucluse House , Wentworth Road, Vaucluse.
Meet at 9.30 am at the Carriage House, which is at the rear of Vaucluse House for a photo shoot.
Entry off Olola Ave, Vaucluse, turn right off Wentworth Rd, (the normal entrance of Vaucluse House).
Last year's turnout of over 30 Maserati masterpieces was a great success, with Maserati Club owners putting in a great effort to show their cars !
The photo shoot at the Carriage House was a great venue to kick off what was a memorable day, with the historic back drop setting the stage for a true showcase of Maserati masterpiece cars, bathed in the early morning sunlight – great for keen enthusiasts and their digital cameras, capturing each masterpiece of engineering and body design.
Every year this classic event for our club gets even better and is now the focal point of the year. Don’t leave your masterpiece wanting, give it a polish and buff to display in all its glory.
Over the years we’ve had a great spread of old and new cars, the sleek and the racy lines of the latest GranTurismo’s, and Quattroporte’s , to the elegant lines of the 3200’s, 4200’s, Spyders, Gran Sports, and the understated muscle characteristics of Shamal and Ghibli, and the Bi turbos of the 70’ and 80’s.
No Concourse would be complete without the classic lines of the past - Indy, Ghibli, Bora, Merak or Khamsin. Yesteryear's true super cars that still cause the hairs on the back of your neck to bristle up - that’s if you have any hairs on your neck.
Bring your barbeque or a lunch, we would like to have all cars at Vaucluse House, in the at the rear carriage House by 9.30 Sunday morning for the photo shoot, then moving around to the Western Paddock by 10.30 am so that they can be judged with a prize giving by approx. midday.
The Concourse is open to all Maserati owners, there’s no reason to leave the masterpiece in the garage, get it out and show it off, it is a great day to catch up with other Club Members and take in the many stories of our members who travel overseas each year and share the stories of our drive days.
Please arrive on time, as we have 45 minutes to assemble at the Carriage House before moving to the Western Paddock. We have a small $20 entry fee to help us defray the cost of renting the space.
