Details to follow ...Come join us for a fun drive day with a stop for breakfast or lunch.
We will leave form Artarmon and travel along the old Pacific Highway to Pokolbin for an excellent lunch at the new Hunter Quarter Restaurant at the Cockfighters Ghost Vineyard at 576 De Beyers Rd, Pokolbin.
The Wolombi road did not suffer any damage during the wild storms and while having a few bumps from time to time the old bad sections have been resealed.
We will stop for comfort and coffee at the Corrugated Cafe near Peats Ridge. ( Caltex station on opposite side).
Then on to Pokolbin for a beautifully located Restaurant overlooking the vines for lunch. The wine tasting room is open at the Cookfighters Ghost Vineyard. The chef searched for a special location to ply his skills and has certainly found a very special facility.
Head chef, Brian Duncan brings a wealth of global and local experience in fine dining to HQ, having worked at the Dorchester Hotel (Three Michelin stars) and Claridges Hotel (One Michelin Star) in the upmarket area of Mayfair in London. Brian was the executive chef at Level 41 and The Establishment, two of Sydney’s premier restaurants.
