Eight cars met at Ferrari Maserati Sydney in Waterloo for a short run down to San Souci:
1 Abarth edizione Maserati (replacing the MC Stradale for this run)
1 Indy
1 GranTurismo
1 Ghibli BiTurbo
1 GranSport Spyder
3 Ghibli Series 3s
The run was a simple one - curl around Waterloo and Zetland to the freeway and then past the airport to Brighton-Le-Sands. The group turned right on to Presidents Avenue to meet the Princes Highway at Kogarah. We then followed that down to Park Road and turned left towards Ramsgate.
Just before Ramsgate the group turned right on to The Promenade which becomes Vista Street. This route skirts Kogarah Bay and drops us outside the St George Motor Boat Club. The cafe, Bay Breeze, overlooks the bay and the St George River and we arrived to meet up with three other cars: another Ghibi BiTurbo, a 3200GT and a Shamal.
The cafe provided great food and coffee and filled up quite quickly so must be a popular spot with the locals overlooking St George Bay. It was also great to meet some new members for their first run with the club!
All up there were 10 cars with 15 members and guests, so a great turnout on a cool autumn morning!
