Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 health emergency, Auto Italia Canberra 2020, scheduled for 29 March, has had to be cancelled.
Those who purchased tickets to the lunch or dinner will be refunded.
Members and guests are invited to join us on our two day expedition to Canberra for Auto Italia 2020. This is the annual showcase of Italian automotive design. Hundreds of exceptional cars, motorbikes and scooters gather each year in Canberra, to celebrate Italian motoring history and the ongoing, cultural influence it has on the international automotive landscape.
For those who have not experienced this event, here is a run down:
Saturday: Drive, Lunch & Shine. Club Maserati meets and leaves for a club drive with a lunch stop off in the Southern Highlands, then continuing on to Canberra. Time will be allocated for those who are displaying their cars for last minute shine.
Tickets for the lunch at Bendooley include set menu for $60 per person - excludes beverages. The drive will commence from Sydney on Saturday.
Saturday Night: A special dinner with the Club Maserati (Victoria).
Tickets for the dinner also available at a cost of $60 per person - excludes beverages. Given the limited capacity of restaurants, we encourage you to book and pay to secure your place at this event.
Sunday: Auto Italia Event - You will need to purchase tickets for this event separately. Club cars will be displayed together, however you don't need to display your car to enjoy this event. See link: https://www.autoitaliacanberra.com/
National Club drive combined with Maserati Owners' Club of Victoria
Maserati Owners' Club of Victoria invites club members to join their rally. Their rally commences in Melbourne on Friday with some of our club members opting to commence from Melbourne. If you would like to join part of all of the Victoria Rally - please contact John Gove or Todd Gilmore for details.
Sunday Night: Canberra to Snowy Mountains (Jindabine or Cooma)
Monday: Snowy Mountains to Rutherglen
Where to Stay: Many Club members stay at the Hyatt Hotel in Canberra. As this weekend attracts a lot of visitors from all over Australia, we suggest you secure your accommodation early.
A full itinerary with where and when to meet will be provided to all club members who have registered for this event.
