Track Day Experience – Sydney Motorsport Park

Whether you are looking to do some track days with the club or just interested in learning more or spectating then this introductory track day experience is a must.

John Stokes, a long time Maserati owner and now your track captain, will be looking after the Club for track and competition events. He has been involved in Motorsport for over 40 years in various categories. To make it easy for everyone, John has arranged through his friends at the Triumph car club, with whom he has raced with for 35 years, to allow us to run in the CSCA championship under their entry. This keeps costs down to CMA and gets us covered under their insurances.

As an introduction to a CSCA event, we would like to invite everyone interested to attend our social run on the 23rd of June which will start at Eastern Creek/Sydney Motorsport Park at 9am and then continue on later for a social run and lunch. The purpose of this event is to meet with John so he can explain what is required and expected at one of these race meetings. We will attend the drivers meeting for your interest and visit scrutineering inspections so we all know what to do to prepare our cars for these events.

Following this we will go for a drive to the Nepean River for lunch at the Nepean Rowing Club. Lunch will be order and pay on the day.

9am start at Sydney Motorsport Park then 11am drive to the Rowing Club.

Instructions for the day:
Entrance is from gate A at the back of the circuit in relation to M4 or the Great Western Hwy. Say you are here for the TSOA social event or Triumph car club event works too. Park where you can which may be not far from the entrance depending what other events are on. Make your way to the Control tower on the main straight. Can’t miss it as it’s a huge hanging pod next to the main garage complex. This CSCA event is run by the Jaguar Drivers Club with invited other clubs. You are part of The Triumph car Club today.
