LONG WEEKEND PROGRAM (3 DAYS)
We will meet at McDonalds at the M4 Service Centre at Huntingwood at 10am Friday 10/3.
At 10.30 we will head for The Bunker Cafe Bar Restaurant at Leura in the Blue Mountains for lunch, it will be street parking so we will aim to get there a little early, before the lunch crowds.
Once we are satisfied with Leura we will head for the Lithgow Small Arms Factory and Museum, followed by a tour of a local historic house in Lithgow itself.
We will then head out for our accommodation for the evening , relax and get ready for a walk to our restaurant "The Blue Fox", for 7pm.
At dinner we will have a local engineer guest, who has modified a 3200 for hill climb racing at Bathurst, he will have time to talk us through the car and the event.
Saturday, after early morning walks, we will visit the Lithgow Mining Museum and Show and the Steel Blast Furnace exhibit.
We will then check out of our hotel and be joined by the short weekend team for Brunch at the local café at 10.30am.
SHORT WEEKEND PROGRAM (2 DAYS)/SATURDAY & SUNDAY PROGRAM
The short weekend team have the choice of joining us in Lithgow for dinner at 7pm Friday night, or driving out on Saturday morning in time for Brunch at 10.30am. (allow for a 2 hour drive)
By 12pm we will be on the road to Mudgee for a quick check-in to our hotel and then on the bus around 2pm for some wine and produce tasting throughout the valley over approximately 3 hours.
We will return to our hotel for some relaxation before enjoying dinner at The Zin House.
Sunday will see breakfast at leisure, with then time to explore the town or additional tasting before departing for home after lunch.
Once your registration has been received we will send the accommodation suggestion.
(Breakfasts, brunches, lunches and dinners to be paid at the venues. The bus tour costs approximately $25 per person, also to be paid on the day.)
